Royal Wolf delivered a customised, transportable 20-foot container control room for Fortescue Metals Group’s Solomon Hub, providing a secure and functional workspace in the Hamersley Ranges.

Royal Wolf's solution included large panel windows for enhanced visibility, ample desk space, practical lighting, air-conditioning, and multiple power outlets. Designed to be robust and fully transportable, the control room met all operational requirements while allowing quick installation on-site, ensuring Fortescue staff could safely monitor operations without disruption.
Challenge
Fortescue Metals Group required a control room that combined functionality, security, and durability in a transportable format. The space had to provide clear visibility, sufficient workstations, integrated lighting, power, and climate control, and be installed quickly on-site while withstanding the harsh conditions of the Hamersley Ranges.
Solution
The tailored control room features large panel windows for increased viewing, ample desk space, airconditioning, practical lighting and plenty of power outlets.
