The project
The technical solutions team collaborated with the customer and designed a relocatable Plug ‘n’ Play unit that could easily be connected to 3-phase power and services whilst meeting NCC (National Construction Code) and the customers internal policy and procedures.
Summary
United Rentals designed and delivered a relocatable, Plug ‘n’ Play ticket booth for station workers during platform upgrades. The unit is fully ventilated, air-conditioned, and equipped with security cameras, client-specific door locks, and an emergency distress button. Built to Australian standards and NCC compliance, the robust, portable container provides safety, comfort, and versatility, with easy connection to 3-phase power and rapid deployment across multiple locations.
Challenges
Our client required a temporary unit to be designed and constructed as a ticket booth. The unit needed to comfortably accommodate the station workers, providing safety and security whilst platform facilities were being upgraded.
